How to prepare for your upcoming procedure

Our doctors need to do an assessment of your skin before a lesion is removed. It is generally worthwhile have an appointment for a skin check to assess all over prior to removing a particular mole. Sometimes medication like blood thinners (anticoagulants) need to be adjusted or ceased prior to surgery. You don't want to miss removing a serious mole that wasn't known about without a thorough check. We use photography to assist with recording your skin lesions.
